Operator Model with hardware configured to mount to top of AR15/AR10 platforms and clear underneath most optic systems.
This system uses a twist tightening system with screws usinga 9/64 bit and torqued to 25 in/lbs.
3 configurations- Swept Rear, Swept Forward, and "0" offset, Right and LEFT hand orientation.
This system utilizes screws to mount to picatinny rail on top of handguard.
SWEPT Forward configuration intended to occupy the space immediately forward of the upper receiver on the handguard
where there is typically space underneath large objective bell scopes.
SWEPT Rear configuration mount further forward, __rail spaces forward of the upper receiver to go around smaller optics mounted farther forward
and even partially onto the handguard top rail.
"0" offset configuration requires 1 5/8" to 3 1/4" free space forward of the upper receiver on top rail of handguard to properly position basket opening over ejection port.
1/8" vertical height over the top rail to give ample clearance and ease of installation underneath scopes and accessories.

Due to the many manufacturers and receiver heights we will need to know the dimension from the top of
receiver to bottom of ejection port cover/dust cover in closed position measured as accurately as possible.
this dimension can vary by up to an inch depending on make and model. Generally, AR15 and AR10 impingement (gas tube) type rifles fall into the 1.5" to 1.6" range.
**When properly installed, the dust cover should lay flat (perpendicular) on the bottom inside of basket opening or have a slight fall toward the bottom of the bag/inside of basket opening. the top underside of opening should be at least 1/8" above the top of the shell deflector. This is important for instances when the rifle is fired when the dust cover is closed.
AR15 and AR10 piston system rifles can vary quite a bit. FN SCAR rifles, POF, and others require more adjustment range. email us to discuss your rifle setup.
this system is adjustable for receiver height and can be assembled in two different ranges of adjustment. Contact us by email for compatability questions.
often times, mounting to the top rail is problematic due to Optics position and night vision/thermal combinations.

Operator Top Mount Low Profile
This is my third Brass Catcher purchased from TBR. The brass catcher mount fits perfect in front of an EOTECH HWS 300 Blackout sight on the top of the hand guard 1911 rail. It folds flat against the receiver without rubbing on it and is adjustable allowing the dust cover to open when the bag is open. If you want the best brass catcher you can get, then TBR is the place to go. Excellent customer service and very fast answering any questions you may have. This is a GREAT company!!!
